Sponsorship Everyone you sponsor in Swimchain is part of your chain, and if the community deems them to be misbehaving (spam, abuse, etc) then that will be reflected on you as well as their sponsor. Users will see their reputation and their reputation will affect yours, so be considerate about who you sponsor as it can come back to bite you. What poor reputation does to you - Watched → rate limits cut to 50%; Restricted → 20% (throttled to a trickle). - LostInviteSlots → you can't sponsor anyone. - AcceleratedDecay → your posts decay faster, so you fade from feeds. - Bottom of the range (illegal, −1000) → effectively frozen out.
